I’m Cam, I setup First Take Craft Services a few years ago during lockdown. As a freelance photographer / photographers assistant for over a decade, I’ve experienced first hand how much amazing catering and craft can mean to crew, not just in the studio, but in remote places with rain, walkies & no heating. No power? 2 units? 4 company moves? I’ve got you.

Living in Hackney, the Saint Espresso Roastery was only a short cycle down the canal and honestly there could of been worse ways to ride out a global pandemic…. I found a tiny Japanese minivan hiding away in a showroom up in Blackpool and started my journey into Craft Services.

Our first actual job was on Mission Impossible 8, technically with Set Dec, but all cast & crew were catered for. The business has since worked with talented producers from Warner Bros, Apple, Nespresso, Armani, Calvin Klein, Zara, Levi’s and many others. We also work with some of London’s finest freelance Barista’s, which none of this would be possible without.
